Deputy Defense Minister Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong attended and spoke at the event.

Since its establishment, the Nuclear Medicine and Oncology Center of Military Hospital 175 has increasingly improved its service to provide healthcare for troops and people diagnosed with cancer while collaborating with health establishments in the city and the neighboring provinces.

The center has proved its prestige and capability in providing high-quality healthcare for patients with the use of advanced medical equipment.

In addition, the center has deployed numerous human resource development programs, collaborated with leading medical establishments to enhance professional management training.

At the ceremony, Military Hospital 175 announced the establishment of the Institute of Oncology and Nuclear Medicine as the upgrading of the Nuclear Medicine and Oncology Center.

Speaking at the event, General Luong applauded achievements of Military Hospital 175 and the Institute of Oncology and Nuclear Medicine, and at the same time required the units to continue improving healthcare service for troops and people in the current context and meeting their task requirements in the time to come. In addition, he urged the units to actively collaborate with each other to respond to natural disasters, epidemics, and unexpected tasks.

The deputy defense minister required the hospital to flexibly apply training methods, enhance scientific researches, and develop high-quality techniques and human resource, contributing to meeting task requirements. On the other hand, the hospital should expand cooperation with other hospitals at home and abroad to exchange information while regularly updating knowledge and new technologies in the healthcare sector.

General Luong hoped that the hospital will continue to promote solidarity and traditions of the military medicine sector, join hands with relevant agencies to fulfill its assigned tasks.
