The mission inspecting the hospital's preparations for receiving and treating COVID-cases

Having inspected the hospital’s facilities, General Tuan asked the hospital to develop plans to mobilize medical workers and troops for COVID-19 prevention and control and prepare medical equipment and medicines to treat infection cases.

As planned, the hospital will start service on May 30. Its medical workers will be equipped with COVID-19 prevention and control measures before undertaking missions at the hospital.

On the same day, Major General Le Anh Tuan handed over the Defense Minister’s Certificate of Merits to 11 groups and 21 individuals in acknowledgement of their contributions to COVID-19 prevention and control.

With the spirit of “fighting the pandemic is like fighting an enemy,” Military Region 1’s troops have cooperated with local forces to protect people in Bac Giang province, Vietnam's largest current COVID-19 flashpoint.
