Over the past time, the sector has instructed its affiliated units to observe all resolutions of the Politburo, the Government and the action plan of the Central Military Commission (CMC), MND’s plan on information technology (IT) application and develop e-Government towards digital government and digital transformation.

In addition, it has also added contents on IT and e-government building to resolutions of the MND’s Department of Finance in the 2021-2025 period, focusing on “Promoting administrative reform and developing effective e-government.” In addition, the department has also issued 11 professional processes for digital information and implement accounting software.

Besides, it has also accelerated the progress of building an information system for the budget work of the military sector via four software modules, among others.

Addressing the conference, General Vinh requested the sector to continue implementing digital transformation according to the development targets of e-government towards digital government according to the MND’s plan.

It should also build up and finalize documents on digital transformation, develop synchronous, modern and flexible IT infrastructure, while focusing on overcoming difficulties in the 2022-2023 period, striving to establish a digital finance platform by 2025.

By 2030, a modern digital financial ecosystem in the military will have been established in all fields, ensuring information efficiency and security.
