Military factory asked to further boost production
PANO – A delegation of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA), led by its Deputy Chief, Lieutenant General Pham Hong Huong, worked with Factory Z176 of the General Department of Defense Industry on March 20.
Over the past years, under resolutions and instructions of higher levels, the factory closely followed the military’s demands for weaponry and equipment, studied and manufactured a number of high-quality defense products to meet the training and combat readiness requirements of military units.

In addition, Factory Z176 fully operated its staffed production lines along with installing new ones to diversify products to serve both domestic and foreign clients, whereby the living standards of its troops and employees have been improving considerably.
On behalf of the leadership of the VPA’s General Staff, General Huong voiced pleasure at the factory’s performance, adding that they have to fully tap the capabilities of production lines, actively implement scientific research, and improve the quality of products for both defense and civilian purposes.
The head delegate also requested the factory to strengthen regularity and discipline observance, while enhancing workplace environment and ensuring labor safety.
He assigned functional agencies to summarize and submit proposals of the factory to leaders of the VPA’s General Staff for consideration and finding solutions.
