PANO – Company 715 under the Army Corps 15 has handed over a gratitude house to its employee Mrs. Pham Thi Loan of the H’Mong ethnic minority group in Ia O commune, Ia Grai district, Gia Lai province.
The 60sq.m house cost VND 80 million, which was donated by the company’s cadres and workers. Besides, they also contributed many working days for the construction.
Loan thanked the company and the corps for giving her the new house and furniture, as her family had lived in a make-shift house in the province since 2005.
According to Colonel Hoang Ngoc Thanh, Company 715’s Party Committee Secretary, the company has attached importance to supporting local policy beneficiaries and its ethnic minority employees to improve their living standards, under the motto “When you eat a fruit, think of the man who planted the tree”.
Up to now, Company 715 created jobs to nearly 500 ethnic minority people with stable incomes of VND 6.5 million a month. Besides, the company regularly provides free health check-ups and medicines, and offers gifts to local residents. Last year, it built and handed over 7 gratitude houses to needy households in the province.
