Many articles are highly evaluated by their combative arguments, while others have summarized practices, provided good experience, models, and creative methods, and proposed solutions and recommendations to improve the effectiveness of the protection of the Party's ideological foundation, and the struggle against wrongful and hostile views in the military.

At the event, the organizing panel presented ten first, 15 second, 25 third, and 30 consolation prizes to authors with outstanding articles on the theme. The article, tilted “Promoting the role of soldier-reporters in protecting the Party’s ideological foundation” by former Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the People’s Army Newspaper Senior Colonel Doan Xuan Bo (now Major General and Editor-in-Chief of the newspaper) was among the authors honored with the first prize.

In addition, the organizers honored ten collectives with outstanding achievements in organizing and participating in the contest.

Earlier on October 23, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics held a ceremony to award outstanding participants in national level contest. At the event, the CMC’s Steering Committee 35 won the title of the best participating unit, and many authors and groups of authors of the People’s Army Newspaper pocketed high prizes.
