Lieutenant-General Do Ba Ty visits Military Zone 3 and Brigade 490

PANO – A Defence Ministry delegation, led by Lieutenant-General Do Ba Ty, Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Member of the Party Military Central Commission, Chief-of-the-General Staff and Deputy-Defence Minister, on October 11th paid working visits to the Military Zone 3 and Bridge 490, under the Artillery Corps.
Having inspected directly the unit’s combat readiness training, technical areas and stores, quarters of troops at Bridge 490, Chief-of-the-General Staff Ty highly appreciated the Bridge’s achievements in the past and asked the troops to continue to study to grasp thoroughly and seriously implement the Politburo’s resolutions, continue training courses to fulfill the assigned tasks.
The Defence Ministry delegation later on visited Regiment 2, Division 395 of the Military Zone 3. On the martial arts training area of the Battalion 3, Lieutenant-General Ty encouraged troops to overcome difficulties to gain the best result in training courses.
At the working session with leaders of the Military Zone 3, the Deputy-Defence Minister highly valued Zone’s achievements in the last years and affirmed that these achievements made a considerable contribution to the army development and strengthened the national defence and security.
Lieutenant-General Do Ba Ty also required the Zone to carry on national defence tasks, improve quality of trainings for armed forces, especially prepare for the upcoming “DB-11” drill to make it a success.
