Island doctors save patient with acute appendicitis
PANO – Soldier Dao Van Giang, a native in Khanh Trung commune, Yen Khanh district, Ninh Binh province, was rescued from acute appendicitis after the Infirmary on Phan Vinh Island (Truong Sa island district, Khanh Hoa province) successfully operated appendectomy on him.

Earlier, while working on Phan Vinh Island, Giang had a stomachache and was hospitalized to the infirmary on March 12. The medical team from Military Hospital 7 of Military Region 3, headed by Capt., Dr. Tran Quang Dung, concluded that he had an acute appendicitis and needed an immediate surgery.
After the successful operation, the patient is now recovering.
The Director Board of Military Hospital 7 praised and congratulated the surgery team.
