At the Thai Binh provincial Military Command, Gen. Thang directly checked the performance of combat readiness of its affiliated units. He praised the provincial Military Command for its advisory role in local defense and military activities, especially in developing combat and staff documents and effectively addressing situations in the sky, at sea, and in the cyberspace. Notably, in 2024, the provincial Military Command has successfully advised the provincial authorities in organizing a civil defense drill for storm response and search and rescue, making it the first province in Vietnam to conduct this exercise after the enactment of the Law on Civil Defense in 2023.
