Lao officers visit Hanoi Capital Military Command

During the meeting with the Lao delegation, Major General Nguyen Quoc Toan, Deputy Commander of the Hanoi Capital Military Command, provided an overview of the socio-economic development of Hanoi capital city and the recent achievements of the Hanoi Capital Military Command. He also shared the management and training results of the reserve force and the militia and self-defense force of the Hanoi Capital Military Command.

Major General Nguyen Quoc Toan emphasized the deep and long-standing relationship between Vietnam and Laos, which has been nurtured over generations. He expressed the hope of the officers and soldiers of the Hanoi Capital Military Command to contribute to fostering the special friendship, solidarity, understanding, and mutual trust between the two nations, particularly between the Hanoi Capital Military Command and units of the Lao People's Army.

For his part, Colonel Phoungan Phommuang thanked the Hanoi Capital Military Command for their hospitality and support during the Lao delegation's visit to Vietnam. He expressed his delight at the achievements of the Hanoi Capital Military Command and believed that Hanoi city’s armed forces would continue to develop, contributing to maintaining political stability, social order, and economic development in the city and the whole country.
