GS’s Deputy Chief inspects flight training at Air Force Regiment 927

PANO - Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff (GS) of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA), Head of the Organizing Committee of the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2022, on November 15, visited and inspected flight training work to welcome the exhibition in Air Force Regiment 927 of Air Force Division 371 under the Air Defense - Air Force Service (ADAF).

The inspection was attended by leaders and representatives of the Ministry of National Defense’s affiliated units, General Department of Political Affairs, and GS.

Reportedly, Division 371 is tasked with implementing a flight performance to open the exhibition. The unit has made thorough preparations for many months, from equipment to intensive flight training courses. So far, all forces of Division 371, including Regiment 927, are ready for the performance.

Concluding the event, General Tan acknowledged and hailed the responsibility and preparation of Division 371 in general, and Regiment 927 in particular. The deputy chief of the VPA’s GS also underscored that the exhibition is about to take place; therefore, troops of the division should do their utmost to well perform the flight performance with absolute safety, contributing to showing the capability of the ADAF in managing and protecting the national sovereignty in the air.
