Visiting Duy Tien Nursing Center, General Nguyen Tan Cuong inquired after and expressed profound gratitude to wounded soldiers for their national service. The defense leader encouraged them to maintain their health and willpower, upholding the qualities of “Uncle Ho’s Soldiers” and following the late President's teaching that “wounded soldiers may be physically disabled, but not useless.”

General Cuong urged the center’s staff to uphold their responsibility in providing attentive material and spiritual care for wounded soldiers while fulfilling all assigned tasks. Representing the CMC and MND, he presented Lunar New Year gifts and extended Tet wishes to the veterans and employees.

Visiting the Ninh Binh Provincial Party and People’s Committees, General Cuong praised the province’s socio-economic achievements and stable livelihoods over the past year. He noted that despite transitioning to a two-tier government model, the province successfully maintained national defense, security, and social order.

General Nguyen Tan Cuong praised Ninh Binh’s authorities for strengthening provincial armed forces, linking socio-economic growth with national security. He urged the province to build on these achievements to meet future targets.

Visiting the Provincial Military Command and Police, the General commended their success in maintaining order, combating crime, and improving combat readiness. He requested enhanced coordination to ensure security and handle any contingencies during the Lunar New Year.

At Army Corps 12, the leader lauded their discipline and effective military policies. He noted that personnel remain politically steadfast and determined to fulfill all missions. On Tet 2026, he wished the province a joyful and safe New Year.

He urged Army Corps 12 to enhance combat readiness and overall quality through close coordination with local authorities. The unit must enforce strict discipline, strengthen political education, and prepare thoroughly for the upcoming recruitment and training season. For the Tet holiday, the corps is required to maintain rigorous combat readiness, increase patrols, and secure equipment while ensuring all personnel enjoy a safe and meaningful Lunar New Year.

On this occasion, General Nguyen Tan Cuong presented Tet gifts from the CMC and MND to Army Corps 12.
