PANO – General Ngo Xuan Lich, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army on January 31st visited Party Committees, People’s Committees, Military Commands, and Departments of Public Security of Ha Nam and Hung Yen provinces.

Having been briefed on task implementation last year, General Lich praised the two provinces for their remarkable achievements in developing socio-economy, carrying out security-defence missions, and building Party organizations.

He asked the provincial Party Committees, authorities, and armed forces to promote solidarity and overcome difficulties to fulfill the set targets, strengthen services, create more jobs for workers, and pay attention to raise locals’ living standards.

The armed forces were asked to boost the quality of training and combat readiness, build the units with firm political stance, and give timely advice on military-defence missions to local party committees and authorities to ensure political security and public order.

General Lịch also requested the military units to heighten vigilance and combat readiness before, during and after the Lunar New Year holiday, organize joyful and economical New Year activities for troops, as well as ensure that policy beneficiaries and needy families will have a warm and convenient Tet.
