To meet future tasks, General Secretary and President To Lam requested that the CMC, MND, GDT, and the military technical sector regularly grasp the Party's policies, and the directives of the CMC and MND regarding defense and military missions, and the military building.

The GDT needs to advise the CMC and the MND in leading and directing the entire military to build a technical infrastructure system in strategic and defensive areas, ensuring timely technical support for the military, especially forces operating at sea, on islands, and in border areas.
