At the meetings, General Nghia was briefed on these units’ task performances in 2018 and their preparations for the upcoming Lunar New Year festival (Tet) for troops and local people.

General Nghia praised the units for their achievements in the past time. He also underlined that in 2019, the units should further embrace higher levels' resolutions on military-defense affairs, improve training and combat readiness quality, take care of soldiers and local policy beneficiaries, and well prepare for the enlistment drive and training drive for new recruits.

On this occasion, the GDP’s leader visited, gifted and extended Tet wishes to Vietnamese heroic mother Huynh Thi Thanh in Vinh Huu commune, Go Cong Tay district, Tien Giang province, and the provincial Veterans' Association.
