Folk games, such as stick-pushing, tug-of-war, bag-jumping, and con throwing, are attractive to any soldier. These games are practical, educating troops about national cultural identities, life skills, collectivity, helping them improve their health, agility, and vivacity. Playing the games together also helps promote solidarity between officers and soldiers, their sharing and mutual support, thus successfully completing their tasks.
