The hospital was erected in the compound of the Center for Defense and Security Education (the Binh Duong provincial Military Command) in Phu Loi ward, Thu Dau Mot city, Binh Duong province, and put under the management of the Department of Logistics of Military Region 7 (MR7).

With a capacity of 500 beds, with 100 more beds at request, and 11 departments, the hospital will receive patients with mild or asymptomatic COVID-19 symptoms for treatment.

Upon announcing the decision, the MR7 Command put the hospital into operation and receive infected cases for treatment.
