Khanh Hoa sets up two more field hospitals for COVID-19 patients
PANO - The Khanh Hoa provincial People’s Committee signed a decision on July 7 to establish two more field hospitals at the Dermatology Hospital (Nguyen Khuyen road, Vinh Hai ward, Nha Trang city) and Khanh Hoa Hospital for Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases (Nui San, Dong De, Vinh Hai ward, Nha Trang city).

The two 100-bed hospitals have been erected to quarantine and treat COVID-19 cases.
Earlier, the province set up a field hospital with 100 beds at the provincial Hospital for Tropical Diseases on July 6.
* The same day, Van Ninh district's Military Command deployed 50 troops to spray disinfectants in the 400-bed quarantine zone at Van Ninh Vocational School in Van Ninh district.
Since July 4, the provincial Military Command has mobilized over 1,000 troops and militiamen to prepare five concentrated quarantine sites, of which three have been put into operation.
According to the provincial Steering Committee for Disease Prevention and Control, from June 23 to July 7, the province recorded a total of 72 SARS-CoV-2-infected cases, mainly in Nha Trang city and Ninh Hoa town.
