This year, border guard units have received 5,366 recruits with relatively uniform educational levels, higher than in previous years. All recruits, aged 18-27, meet the required political, educational, and health standards, with 100% enlisting voluntarily, demonstrating their responsibility and commitment to the Fatherland. Notably, many have expressed their desire to continue serving long-term in the border guard force from the very first days of military service.

The military recruitment work in 2025 has been implemented by local authorities and related organizations as scheduled with good quality, with recruits being ready for the new training season.

The new recruits have their health checked.

In 2025, the Border Guard Training Center has received 480 recruits for training, whose overall quality and educational levels are higher compared to previous years, with an increasing number of college and university graduates. Despite their young age, the recruits have shown their strong patriotism and commitment to training and serving in the military, ready to fulfill any assigned task.

Major Truong Thanh Linh, a Political Officer of Company 5, underscored that the unit has promptly addressed recruits’ needs and concerns, ensuring the new enlistees would soon adapt to military life and be ready for training from the very first days.

At the Training - Mobile Battalion of the Binh Thuan provincial Border Guard Command, 205 recruits from Binh Thuan and Ninh Thuan provinces have been received for training this year. Major Bui Quang Tan, Deputy Head of the battalion stated that the unit has thoroughly prepared for training activities, ensuring that recruits quickly adapt to military life and have the best environment for training.

With thorough preparation and high determination from the unit’s leaders, the recruit training work is expected to achieve positive results. This training not only builds physical fitness, skills, and expertise but also boosts troops’ will and discipline observance, affirming the quality of increasingly intensive training and contributing to building a strong border guard force ready to safeguard national sovereignty and border security.
