PANO - The General Department of Logistics will provide duvets, mattresses and military winter hats for troops and non-commissioned officers of units stationed in localities hit by severe cold spells, announced the Department of Military Supplies on February 18th.

This is the first time the department has provided military winter hats to units in regions facing chilly weather.

The department also asked logistics units to keep track of the weather to take measures to protect troops’ health, supply hot water for troops, as well as protect vegetables, cattle and poultry to ensure enough food for troops during cold weather.
