Effective models in assistance to people of ethnic minority groups

PANO - The Central Highlands province of DaK Lak has reviewed 10 years of implementing twinning models to assist people of ethnic minority groups in boosting social economic development and consolidating security and national defence.

Following such models, thousands of households of ethnic minority groups have twinned with their counterparts of the Viet group. Attentively, those twinning models have helped develop socio-economy and defence-security at 65 local villages where hostile forces often make use of nationalist and religious matters to sabotage the whole-nation great unity bloc.

Results of such models were appreciated at a conference and Army Corps 15 had distinguished itself by successfully establishing and multiplying the model of connecting households of the Viet group with ethnic minority groups to boost household economies, contributing to poverty reduction and hunger elimination and the building of cultural life and new-style rural areas.

More importantly, such a model has also tightened the whole-nation unity, creating the national invincible strength to defeat any invaders and successfully carrying out the national construction and protection cause.
