Over the past years, the school has strictly embraced and realized documents on digital transformation and IT training issued by the Ministry of National Defense and the Engineering Corps.
The school has strived to build a “smart school,” performed digital transformation in educational, training, logistics, and technical fields. Specifically, all computers provided for the school’s agencies, divisions and battalions are connected with internet specially designed for the military, and are installed with anti-malware software. Additionally, the school has applied digital signature for e-documents.
Notably, the school has pro-actively and actively promoted digitization of textbooks, documents, lectures, renovated teaching methods, taking advantage of information technology and digital platforms. Up to date, more than 3,000 documents with nearly 29,000 pages have been digitized, 26 scientific research products have shown their effectiveness in education and training, and more than 250 cadres and instructors have been awarded IT certificates.
Concluding the visit, Gen. Hung acknowledged achievements gained by the school in digital transformation and IT training. He requested the school to continue reviewing and upgrading infrastructure to accelerate the digital transformation work in a comprehensive and synchronous manner. The school should also carry out approaches to build a smart school, concentrate on digitizing and building a database on textbooks, lectures, other documents, scientific research results, and applying IT to teaching in the new situation.
