Deputy defense minister extends Tet greetings to Cao Bang border guards
PANO - Deputy Defense Minister Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh on January 15 visited and extended lunar New Year (Tet) greetings to troops of the Cao Bang provincial Border Guard Command.

At the event, Senior Colonel Dinh Duc Hung, Commanding Officer of the Cao Bang provincial Border Guard Command, briefly reported to the general the command’s task performance of territorial sovereignty and national border security protection, the political security, social order and safety in the border areas where the command and its affiliates are stationed, and the combat readiness observance and preparations for the upcoming lunar New Year festival of its affiliated units.
On hearing the report, Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh applauded the command’s achievements obtained in 2022.
He asked the command to continue to bring into play their attainments, fix shortcomings and limitations, strictly observe combat readiness regulations. He also requested it to work closely with authorities and branches of all levels, and relevant forces to ensure local order and security before, during, and after the Tet holiday.

The senior officer urged the command to pay due attention to, encourage troops and ensure Tet welfare for them, particularly on-duty ones during the holiday. These will help them feel secure to undertake and complete all assignments while enjoying Tet.
On the occasion, on behalf of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh wished all officers and soldiers of the Cao Bang provincial Border Guard Command good health and a happy New Year.
