Defense Minister works with Army Academy
PANO - Defense Minister General Phan Van Giang worked with the Army Academy on the school’s results of task performance over the past time and its implementation of key missions set for this year on March 20.

Reports delivered at the working session revealed that in realizing General Phan Van Giang’s conclusion at the inspection session in April 2022, the school’s Board of Directors has paid special attention to raising the quality of learning and teaching and scientific research.
Speaking at the event, General Phan Van Giang praised the academy’s efforts and achievements over the past time, especially its determination in actualizing the Defense Minister’s direction during the inspection a year ago.
Regarding missions in the coming time, the defense minister asked the Army Academy’s Party committee and Board of Directors to continue to embrace higher levels’ directives, resolutions, and orders and concretize them in accordance with its actual situation; address shortcomings; effectively carry out and make strong changes in education and training following the “Training quality is combat readiness capability” motto; review and adjust educational and training contents and programs suitable to each subject; combat achievement obsession phenomenon in education and training; promote the application of information technology to training and management.
Highlighting the role of officials and instructors, General Phan Van Giang said that the academy should pay attention to enhancing the competence of instructors and management staff.
The defense minister said that the Army Academy should accelerate applying outcomes of scientific research to training and other missions; cooperate with agencies and units operating in the education sector and scientific research to build a stronger military education establishment.

The defense minister strongly believed that with 75-year experience and tradition, the Army Academy will stay united and successfully complete all assigned missions, contributing to building a revolutionary, regular, advanced, and exemplary school.
