At Commando Brigade 113, on inspecting the training work, combat readiness posture observance and regularity building activities, General Phan Van Giang praised the unit’s troops for their great efforts to complete all assigned missions.

The defense minister expressed his pleasure and spoke highly of the unit’s serious, methodical, quality and close-to-combat-reality training work after all combatants dealt well with the situation he raised and downed all targets in a live-fire test.

Gen. Giang requested the unit to constantly improve the training quality, combat readiness ability, particularly martial arts and techno-tactical skills while developing training programs in line with assigned materiel, future development trends, task requirements and combat situations.

He urged troops to flexibly and creatively apply and develop martial arts, techno-tactical skills to make them unique for the commando troops.

Earlier the same day, on checking Infantry Regiment 165’s barracks construction and investment project, Defense Minister Phan Van Giang requested the unit to promptly adjust and complete the design of barracks and the master planning to make full use of its utility, be suitable with the stationed area, and better serve troops’ life.
