PANO - Defense Minister, General Ngo Xuan Lich sent a letter of commendation to doctors of Hospital 103 of the Military Medical University on July 30 to honor their success in 4 organ transplantation operations.
Earlier, the doctors successfully transplanted one heart, two kidneys into three soldiers and collaborated with doctors of Viet Duc Hospital to conduct a liver transplant operation on a civilian. The four organ recipients are now in good health condition.

In the letter, the minister praised all doctors' efforts saying that the success has demonstrated the good virtues, high expertise and abilities of doctors from Hospital 103. This has also laid a foundation for a new promising approach to healthcare and treatment for troops and people in the future.
The Defense Minister hoped that the hospital's doctors would further promote Uncle Ho soldiers' virtues and their creativity to provide better healthcare for troops and people in the time to come and at the same time contribute to developing the military medicine and Vietnam's medical sector as well as deserving the love and trust of the Party, State, people and army.
