Over the past time, the factory has paid due attention to production growth and maintenance of market share and consumption of industrial explosives while reaping good results in promoting the production of polymer mechanics and exploiting production lines of export mechanical devices and auxiliary products. In the first eight months of this year, the factory’s turnover from polymer mechanical production reached over VND 52 billion.
Urging the factory to innovate its production management and organization, General Truong asked it to apply advanced science and technology to its production process and improve the quality of products while ensuring sustainable jobs and income for its employees and strongly developing the factory.
* The same day, Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army paid an inspection visit to Naval Region 4.
In the past, the air defense force of Naval Region 4 strictly observed combat duty regulations, were aware of grasping the situation and closely followed situational developments to avoid being put in a surprised position. They also effectively handled arising issues and promoted the practice of air defense combat readiness at all levels. The whole region strictly followed the directives of the Chief of the General Staff on air defense operations as well.
General Vinh hailed the naval region’s good results in combat readiness observance and training implementation. He requested the region to continue embracing the Ministry of National Defense’s and Naval Service’s directives on operations, combat readiness, and guarantee services for combat readiness missions. The region was also asked to enhance airspace management, work closely with other forces to fulfil their missions, and adjust training and combat readiness plans in line with realities.

* At a meeting held on September 23, Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff, commended the General Staff’s affiliates for their good observance of combat readiness regulations and military discipline, promoting force regularity building, and ensuring safety and security for the Ministry of National Defense’s Headquarters and organs in the third quarter of this year.
General Tan noted that many important political events will take place in the remaining months of the year. They include the 11th Military Party Congress, the tenth session of the 14th National Assembly, and other international events amidst the complicated development of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Therefore, in the time ahead, the General Staff’s affiliates should bring into full play their achievements in task performance while enhancing political education for their staff, employees, and troops to raise their political stance and vigilance.
In addition, the General Staff’s affiliated units should keep a close watch on situational developments in the areas they are stationed, promote fire prevention and control, and strictly apply COVID-19 preventive measures.
