Dak Lak border guards boost COVID-19 response
PANO – For two days from February 6 to 7, a delegation of the Dak Lak provincial Border Guard Command, led by its Deputy Political Commissar Senior Colonel Do Quang Tham, inspected and encouraged troops on duty at COVID-19 checkpoints in border areas.
Reportedly, the troops have strictly observed directions of higher levels in COVID-19 prevention and control. They also comprehensively implemented many measures to manage the border areas and organized patrols to fight illegal border crossings.

Senior Colonel Tham hailed the troops’ great efforts and achievements over the past time, requesting them to promote responsibility in the coming time, especially during Tet holiday, so as to actively follow local situations and be ready for any circumstances.
Meanwhile, they should also care for troops’ welfare and ensure anti-pandemic equipment, contributing to firmly protecting national border security and sovereignty.
On this occasion, the delegation visited and inquired after Vietnamese heroic mother Nguyen Thi Xuan in Ia Rve commune, Ea Sup district and needy students in the area.
