Command 86 holds politico-military conference 2023
PANO – Command 86 held a conference on January 10 to review its politico-military task performance in 2023 and map out tasks for 2024.

In 2023, under the leadership and direction of Command 86’s Party Committee, the command comprehensively fulfilled assigned tasks. Attentively, the command gave recommendations to the Central Military Commission (CMC) and the Ministry of National Defense (MND) on the management and protection of national sovereignty over cyberspace, and made proposals to the MND to issue measures to boost digital transformation; maintained combat readiness posture; closely followed situational development in cyberspace; and effectively maintained information warfare operations, among others.

Additionally, the Party and political work was implemented comprehensively and synchronously while logistics, technical and financial work was ensured for combat readiness and tasks.
Speaking at the conference, Senior Colonel Vu Huu Hanh pointed out significant tasks in 2024. In detail, the command should continue to strengthen management, follow, evaluate, and forecast cyberspace situation to give timely advice to higher levels and propose effective measures to deal with arising circumstances; review and adjust the system of combat documents at all levels, as well as prevent and combat toxic information on cyberspace.

Meanwhile, the command should make recommendations to the MND to effectively implement the project on digital transformation for the 2023-2025 period, with orientations towards 2030, and Project No.6 of the MND.
At the conference, Command 86 launched the “Determined to win” emulation movement in 2024.
