CMC Standing Board’s conference convened
PANO - The Standing Board of the Central Military Commission (CMC) held a conference under the chair of Senior Lieutenant General Phan Van Giang, Deputy Secretary of the CMC and Defense Minister, on June 14.

The meeting also saw the presence of General Luong Cuong, permanent member of the CMC and Director of the General Department of Politics; Sr. Lt. Gen. Nguyen Tan Cuong, CMC permanent member, Chief of the General Staff, and Deputy Defense Minister; Sr. Lt. Gen. Hoang Xuan Chien, Deputy Defense Minister; Sr. Lt. Gen. Tran Quang Phuong, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics; and Lt. Gen. Huynh Chien Thang, Deputy Chief of the General Staff.
At the event, the participants discussed and contributed their ideas to the CMC’s action program on implementing the resolutions adopted at the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam and at the 11th Congress of the Military Party Organization.
They also looked into the draft working regulations of the CMC for the 2020-2025 tenure; the CMC’s working program for the 2020-2025 tenure; the resolutions on leadership over inspection and supervision work; the working regulations of the CMC’s Inspection Committee for the 2020-2025 period; and other important documents.
The CMC Standing Board also reviewed the results achieved by the military in carrying out military-defense missions in the first half of this year and discussed the military’s missions in the second half of the year.
