Border Guard’s mission encourages anti-drug team of Quang Binh
PANO – A mission of the Border Guard Command, led by its Deputy Commissar Major General Le Nhu Duc, on March 28 visited and encouraged an officer at the Quang Binh provincial Border Guard Command who was wounded during a recent combat against drug-traffickers.
Earlier on March 27, as instructed by the provincial Border Guard Command, task-force squad No.2 of the provincial Border Guard Division of Drug and Crime Prevention, and Laos’ Khammouane provincial Department of Security successfully arrested four Lao citizens who transported drugs from Laos to Vietnam, seizing 110,000 tablets of synthetic drugs, three vans, 19 million Lao Kip, and many other exhibits.

In a fierce fire exchange, an officer of the provincial Border Guard Division of Drug and Crime Prevention was shot by armed drug dealers.
The Border Guard Command presented certificates of merits to the provincial Border Guard Command, task-force squad No.2, and Laos’ Khammouane provincial Department of Security and VND 50 million in cash to the squad. Previously, Quang Nam’s leadership presented gifts to the wounded officer.
