Deputy Defense Minister Senior Lieutenant General Pham Hoai Nam chaired the event.

At the event, the organizers reported that the competition concluded successfully, meeting all set requirements and ensuring absolute safety in all aspects.

Sr. Lt. Gen. Pham Hoai Nam presents certificates of merit to three leading groups of the competition.

The organizing panel presented one first group prize to Military Region 3, followed by Military Region 5 and Military Region 4.

In the pair of CO and political commissar category, officers from the Ha Nam provincial Military Command ranked first. The second and third places belonged to pairs from the military commands of Hai Phong city and Hai Duong province.

Notably, Senior Colonel Nguyen Minh Quang from Hai Phong city’s Military Command was the best CO, and Colonel Ngo Quoc Bao from the Ha Nam provincial Military Command was the best political commissar of the competition.

Other COs and political commissars with high achievements in five events of the competition were also awarded.

On behalf of the leaders of the Ministry of National Defense and General Staff, Lt. Gen. Huynh Chien Thang, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army and Deputy Head of the Organizing Panel of the Competition, highly appreciated the steering board and the organizing panel for the effective management and competitors for overcoming difficulties, promoting solidarity, and exchanging experience.

General Thang asked participating cadres to continue to train to have firm political stance, good moral qualities, strictly observe discipline and acquire more knowledge, especially of military strategy, as well as embrace and flexibly and creatively apply the Party’s guideline and State’s policies to duty performance.
