PANO – The Military Zone 1 Command on December 23rd reviewed its two years (2011-2013) of implementing the Central Military Commission’s Instruction 523-CT/QUTW on directing policy work for the army and its rear.

Accordingly, the zone raised VND 4 billion for the Gratitude Fund, presented gifts valued at nearly VND 700 million to policy beneficiaries, and offered free health check-ups and medicines to about 6,000 needy people.

Besides, the unit contributed thousands of working days to repair martyrs’ cemeteries and monuments and assist policy families.

Notably, it built 72 gratitude houses for policy beneficiaries and 27 comradeship houses.
