In November 2016, the Defense Minister signed Directive 89/CT-BQP on improving foreign language teaching and learning quality at military schools.

According to relevant agencies, officers have developed in both quantity and quality, meeting the requirements of all assigned tasks in the current situation.

Military education institutions have trained officers in accordance with the operational reality of the military needs, renovated teaching methodology, and sent trainees to other schools at home and aboard to further enhance their competencies at all tactical, operational and strategic levels.

Thanks to these efforts, graduated cadets and officers always well perform assigned missions, contributing to meeting the demands of building a revolutionary, regular, elite and gradually modern army.
