ADAF Service holds tactical exercise for anti-aircraft missile detachments
PANO - The Air Defense - Air Force (ADAF) Service kick-started a tactical drill for S-125-2TM and S-125-VT anti-aircraft missile detachments on July 8 in the presence of Major General Bui Duc Hien, Second-in-Command of the ADAF Service.
During the event, combat crews will practice giving suggestions, performing Party and political work, and ensuring logistics supplies and technical conditions for tasks.

They will also conduct drills on shifting combat readiness status from regular to higher levels, making preparation for combat, starting the operation in which the combat crews coordinate to fight against enemy firepower.
Addressing the event, Major General Bui Duc Hien laid stress on the drill’s goals and requirements.

The Deputy Commander of the ADAF Service asked the organizing panel to organize the drill closely and scientifically. He requested the jury to promote sense of responsibility, make objective assessments; the participating units to enhance solidarity, thoroughly grasp higher level’s directives, plans, and instructions, observe the event’s regulations, and show high determination to achieve the highest possible results while ensuring absolute safety of personnel and equipment.
Right after the opening ceremony, the combat crews participated in a theory test on politics, staff role, logistics supply and technical services.
