PANO - The Military Technical Academy has recorded good progress in implementing scientific and technological projects as well as technological tasks assigned by the State and the Defence Ministry.

TheAcademy carried out research on 8 State-level topics, 7 at the Defence Ministry-level, 5 at the sector-level and 30 others at the institute-level. Tens of those projects were put into application.

The Academy also upgraded and built 36 new laboratories, workshops, and classrooms equipped with computers in order to facilitate scientific research by officials, lecturers and trainees. In the academic year of 2006-2007, the Academy will strive to complete over 160 scientific research projects that will be reported on during the Academy's Science Week.
