The closing ceremony witnessed the attendance of Lt. Gen. Ngo Minh Tien, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army.

Addressing the closing ceremony, General Tien highly valued results of the competition and stressed that the event proved the efforts of the military schools’ leaderships in accelerating English learning and teaching movement, contributing to training generations of qualified officers for the international integration of the Vietnam People’s Army.

In addition, it helped improve young officers’ English skills, contributing to mastering modern weapons and equipment and conduct defense external affairs. The event also contributed to promoting English learning movement and improving the quality of English teaching in the whole military.

After two rounds of the competition, the Military Medical University excellently reached the first position out of 18 teams participating in the competition’s collective category.

The organizers also handed over two second, three third, and six consolation prizes to participating units.

In the individual category, the organizing panel presented five first, 10 second, 20 third, and other consolation prizes to outstanding participants.
