PANO – 350 soldiers from the Border Guard Academy donated more than 300 blood units to Army Central Hospital No. 108.
The blood donation drive was launched by the hospital in collaboration with the academy as part of celebrations for the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnamese People’s Army on December 22nd.
More than 1,300 soldiers have registered so far to donate their blood. In the first working session, 300 blood units were collected.
According to Colonel Do Ich Bau, the BGA's spokesperson, the BGA will join hands with more hospitals to donate blood in the future.
