PANO – A delegation of 20 young Cambodian officers visited the South Helicopter Company of Army Corps 18 and joined cultural and sporting exchanges with their Vietnamese peers, on October 8 in Vung Tau city.
The visiting Cambodian delegation toured facilities of the company such as the training center, airfield and helicopter terminal, and learnt about its tradition, training curriculum and business.

After the tour, leaders of the company had a meeting with the visiting Cambodian officers, briefing the guests on the company’s tasks, functions and recent achievements, and answering questions from the guests.
On behalf of the guests, Colonel Chhong Rumchek, head of the visiting delegation, thanked the host for the reception, saying that all young Cambodian officers felt interested in the tour and admired the achievements obtained in the past years by young Vietnamese pilots and technicians at the company.
He held that such an activity will bolster friendship and cooperation between the two armies, contributing to strengthening bilateral relations between Vietnam and Cambodia.
After the meeting, young Vietnamese and Cambodian officers joined cultural and sporting exchanges in the South Helicopter Company.
