During the shooting practice, doctors shot ten rounds at targets to check the technical condition of K59 pistols while junior medical staff and armored vehicle drivers used AK74 assault rifles to hit targets.
To practice for the “Team championship” event of the contest, Vietnamese contestants wore flak jackets, helmets, and first aid bags which weigh nearly 20kg in total while trying to cross obstacles to approach wounded persons, give first aid to them, drag them to the shelter, wrap them in bandages, and transport other equipment. Meanwhile, armored vehicle drivers have to drive in difficult terrains with various barriers such as anti-tank ditches, and mine barriers.
