Vietnamese naval ships visit China
PANO – The two naval ships of the Vietnam People’s Navy (VPN), 011 – Dinh Tien Hoang and 015 – Tran Hung Dao, departed for China on April 14 to attend multilateral naval activities held in Qing Dao city of China.
The two Vietnamese battleships whose visit is made at the invitation of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army Navy will attend the celebration of the 70th founding anniversary of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army Navy.

Commanded by Senior Captain Nguyen Dinh Hung, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Naval Region 4, the voyage aims to strengthen friendship and cooperation between the two navies and the two militaries in particular and the all-round Vietnam - China bilateral relations in general.
The participation of the two Vietnamese battleships also targets to boost its exchange and cooperation with participating navies in the world via the multilateral activities.
It also helps the VPN improve the quality of training, capacity of coordination among forces and mastery of assigned weapons and equipment for naval troops during long voyages at sea.
