These activities continued to affirm the role and position of the Vietnam People’s Navy in both bilateral and multilateral mechanisms. These activities also promoted the crew-members’ abilities of conducting long-time and long-distance voyages and mastering weapons and equipment on board.

In addition, the Vietnamese naval troops on board could absorbed more experiences via the visits and exercises, which could help them host multilateral maritime activities in the coming time.

At the closing ceremony, the leadership of the Vietnam People’s Navy presented merit certificates to members of the mission, for they successfully completed the tasks.

In addition, they received the insignia “Oceangoing sailor” by the Vietnam People’s Navy right after arriving at Cam Ranh port.
