Vietnamese, Indian young officers share training experiences
PANO – A delegation of young officers of the People’s Army of Vietnam visited and shared training experiences with their Indian colleagues at the Indian National Defense Academy on March 7.
The delegation meets with Vietnamese cadets under training in India.
The Vietnamese delegation visited the academy’s shooting center, rifle range enhancement club, horse training center, and naval ship and flying training center.
At their exchange during the visit, the Indian young officers expected to have more opportunities to share experiences with the guests in research and enhancement of quality of defense lessons and tactical terrain.
On this occasion, the Vietnamese delegates met and encouraged nine Vietnamese cadets who are studying at the academy. Senior Lieutenant Colonel Dinh Quoc Hung, Head of the Vietnam People’s Army Military Board, presented gifts to the cadets and urged them to promote the country’s and army’s tradition to learn new knowledge to serve the Vietnam People’s Army after they graduate.
The Indian National Defense Academy was founded in 1949. So far, the academy has produced over 35,000 cadets, of which 31 have become chiefs of the Army, Navy, or Air Force.
