At the flagpole area, Vietnam’s national flag is flying next to the U.N.’s flag. The construction holds important significance, affirming the participation and contribution of Vietnam to the U.N. missions, while honoring the national pride of Vietnamese blue-beret officers. It will be a destination for visitors and international friends, the locals, and patients of the hospital to pose for photos.

The flagpole is located in the center of the facade at the entrance to the hospital's working area. The construction not only beautifies the hospital’s campus and leaves impression on international friends, but also encourages Vietnamese blue-berets to fulfill their assigned tasks and bring better life to the locals.
