Reportedly, the contingent will compete with their rivals from Russia, Armenia, Iran, Egypt and the host China.

The participating contingents have received weapons, hardware, equipment and vehicles such as chemical and radioactive reconnaissance vehicles, chemical and radioactive reconnaissance sets, NBC (nuclear, biological, chemical) suits, gas masks PMK-3 and assault rifles QBZ-95.

After settling down, Vietnamese troops have started training plans to familiarize with the harsh weather and terrain conditions of the Korla Military Training Base in China’s Xinjiang Military Region, where the event will take place.

Colonel Le Tuyen Giao, head coach of the contingent, shared that despite limited time for getting used to new machinery and equipment, all the contingent’s members with high resolve have made all-out efforts to quickly learn about technical features and combat functions of the machinery and equipment and to adapt to the local weather and terrain conditions and regulations of the event.
