The joint patrol formation included Ship 261 of Brigade 127 under the Naval Region 5 of the Vietnam People’s Navy and Ship 1131 of the Royal Cambodian Navy.

During the patrol, the two navies performed a saluting ceremony called Hello ASEAN (a saluting ceremony at sea among naval ships of ASEAN member states), exchanged information, exercised hand-flag and signal lamps in line with the International Code on Signals, and organized gift presentation programs.

Thanks to thorough preparations and close coordination of the two sides, the 69th joint patrol between naval forces of the two countries completed all set contents, ensuring absolute safety for personnel and vehicles.

The joint patrol aimed to maintain security, order, peace and stability at sea and cultivate the traditional friendship, solidarity and mutual trust between the two naval forces.
