Vietnamese, Cambodian border units collaborate on joint border patrol
PANO - On November 1, Ho Le Border Post of the Kon Tum provincial Border Guard Command collaborated with Cambodian units, including Border Guard Station 505, Battalion 203, the Rattanakiri provincial Police, and Infantry Platoon 3 of Company 2, Rattanakiri provincial Military Sub-region, to conduct a joint patrol from Border Marker No.17 to Border Marker No.17.1.

This bilateral border patrol aimed to enhance the management and protection of the Vietnam - Cambodia border.
During the patrol, both sides exchanged information regarding the border area's situation, inspected border markers and border lines, and agreed on the contents and methods for sharing information related to territorial sovereignty and border security for each country.
Furthermore, they agreed to intensify efforts to combat cross-border crimes, prevent violations, border crossings, and smuggling activities in the shared border management area.
On this occasion, Ho Le Border Post provided food, necessities, and medical supplies valued at over VND 12 million to Cambodian units.
