In line with the 2022 memorandum of understanding, the Military Commands of Son La province and Xiengkhouang province have emphasized the spirit of solidarity, special friendship, mutual understanding and trust. They have pro-actively managed situations, effectively coordinated to resolve related issues, contributing to maintaining political stability and social order in each locality, regularly exchanged information and made recommendation to the Party committees and authorities of the two sides, contributing to addressing issues related to migration and encouraging people to adhere to border regulations.
In the coming time, both sides are committed to raising awareness among the armed forces and people of the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos, particularly between Son La province and Xiengkhouang province.

On this occasion, the Military Command of Xiengkhouang province visited and encouraged Lao People's Army's trainees studying Vietnamese at Regiment 754 of the Son La provincial Military Command, and toured the regiment's Battalion 1's barracks.
