PANO - The Vietnam Peacekeeping Center, Military Hospital 175 and the Department of Military Medicine under the Vietnam Ministry of National Defence, in association with the United States Pacific Command (USPACOM), held a seminar on June 23rd to discuss preparations for setting up a level 2 field hospital as part of the country’s participation in UN peacekeeping missions.

As many as 95 delegates representing relevant agencies and the field hospital took part in the two-day event. It aims to improve the capability of Vietnam’s military medical force in peacekeeping operations, enhance mutual understanding between the two sides' military medical forces, contributing to maintaining stability, peace and development in the region and the world.
During the seminar, US specialists will exchange experience with Vietnam military medical personnel in specific subjects to prepare for the deployment of the level-two field hospital of the Vietnam's peacekeeping forces, focusing on technology and logistics, as well as the hospital's management and healthcare.
