Vietnam, Myanmar foster military medical cooperation
PANO – Deputy Defense Minister, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Phuong Nam received Director of Myanmar’s Directorate of Medical Services, Brigadier General Soe Win, in Hanoi on September 6.

At the meeting, the guest informed the host of outcomes of his previous meetings with Vietnam’s Military Medical Department and some military hospitals.
The Myanmar general held that this was a good opportunity for the two medical services to share their experiences and promote training in the coming time.
In turn, the host highlighted the Vietnam-Myanmar traditional relationship, including defense cooperation, which is seen as a pillar in the bilateral ties.
The two generals also agreed to continuously create favorable conditions to enhance and strengthen the two armies’ medical forces.
